The tattoo says "Never a failure, always a lesson," and Rihanna says that "It's basically saying it's okay to make mistakes, just don't do it twice." For a change the subject of Chris Brown did not come up, but when Rihanna was questioned about Matt Kemp she came over all shy.

Grammy-award winning singer Rihanna is set to embark on a whirlwind promotional tour of Australia, arriving on Valentine's Day.

The Umbrella singer is flying in to promote her third album Rated R and its latest single Rude Boy. She will be in the country for just three days, from February 14-17.

Both the new album and its first single Russian Roulette have gone gold in Australia. Together with Kanye West and former label boss Jay-Z she won a Best Rap/Sung Collaboration Grammy for Run This Town this week.

Rihanna last toured Australia for a series of stadium concerts with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in October 2008.

Since then the pair have broken up, with Brown admitting to assaulting the 22-year-old Barbadian star. Details of Rihanna's tour schedule have yet to be released.

A cheery and playful Rihanna appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday (February 1) to kick off the talk-show host's Grammy Week, which is set to feature a number of big names in music.

The "Umbrella" star served as the bookend of the show, opening with "Don't Stop the Music" and closing things out with her latest hit "Hard."

Rihanna sashayed onstage in black military-style boots and a black minidress adorned with colorful pieces of fabric twisted into spirals. Ellen looked on with a big smile and sported a pair of thigh-high black patent leather boots in honor of her musical guest.

Rihanna and Chris Brown were both scheduled to perform at last year’s ceremony, however, on the morning of the event the popstar was brutally beaten by Brown forcing them both to cancel.

It seems L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp hasn't been able to keep his name out of the tabloids since becoming Rihanna's first public romance following the Chris Brown debacle.

The latest drama stems from a 2002 police report that has recently resurfaced. It was filed by a woman that claimed Kemp, who was 17 at the time, and two former teammates of his Midwest City, Oklahoma basketball team had forced sexual conduct on her.

The victim's name was not disclosed. The woman claimed that three men -- Kemp, Sheldon Williams, De'Angelo Alexander -- forced her into sexual conduct at the Columbus Hyatt Hotel at about 2AM on a Sunday morning. All three accused men were in high school at the time, and in Columbus, Ohio for the National Hoops Classic basketball tournament.
